From stepping foot into hospital I spent most of the labour arguing. I have PTSD from the experience. There’s so much more I could write about the experience because it was truly horrific.
I went absolutely mental, shouting, I did not consent to either and “luckily” they didn’t touch me.
They said take her home to die. They said terminate him.
It was the most horrendous experience ever and now I’m pregnant with number 4, I will never birth in a hospital again.
At an out of hours appointment because of some retained placenta tissue, after an extremely traumatic birth, I was examined with a speculum.
Fast forward to once we had our baby a few hours later they took him “for a quick check” and never came back, when we asked where he was we was told he is now staying in the special baby unit, we quickly asked to be shown where he was!
I wanted a vaginal birth after caesarean, I was predicted a big baby, they said they couldn’t be wrong – they were.
