Conception Before Ovulation.

This is the response I got from the hospital in regard to my issue about due dates.

Background: I had an ovulation induction, including various scans and a trigger injection, as well as charting (OvuSense) and the due date calculated by my 12 week scan was a week earlier than my predicted date based on ovulation.

Due to my age (I turned 40 during the pregnancy) they wanted to induce me at 40 weeks so to me an accurate date was vital.

Their response: An ovulation date does not indicate a conception date.

True, but (unless I’m the new Virgin Mary) then conception can’t happen a week before ovulation.
